Employment Opportunity – Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Reporting to Manager of Operations
- The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the repair and maintenance of CNWM’s fleet of equipment. This work includes, but is not limited to, preventative, routine and demand maintenance on any of CNWM’s heavy equipment, commercial trucks and light duty vehicles, machinery or tools. The incumbent is also required to maintain all technical certification and licenses required by CNWM and/or provincial standards.
- Maintains a preventative maintenance program in accordance within established policies on all heavy equipment, commercial trucks, light duty vehicles, machinery and tools. Provides up-to-date, accurate records of vehicle/equipment service and maintenance by completing, as required, all daily or other periodic reports on operation, condition, maintenance or service.
- Maintains daily contact with the other staff of CNWM and periodically must interact with any service facility providing maintenance to the CNWM’s equipment.

· Knowledge of OH&S policies and regulations
· Ability to deal with clients in an effective, respectful and informative manner.
· Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
EDUUCATION AND TRAINING
· Journeyman certificate
· Computer Literate

Pay: $31.11 per hour
